We will look at the “history” of crowd wisdom, and then - based on the discussion in Part 1 and with old and new examples from public/political life–we will discuss why a crowd of individuals - if properly constructed–makes better decisions than a poorly constructed group and even better than one or more experts in the matter. This phenomenon has been observed in both the animal and human world. Finally, we will predict what we can expect in the future.
After these two programs, you will think differently about most statements you hear from all sides and about all subjects.
We hope to see many of you for one or both of these exciting, eye-opening discussions.
